Sure, you would prefer to captain your own boat and make the run yourself, but this time you just can’t make it work and you need assistance — we can help.
With my Transport Canada certification for SVOP (small vessel operator’s proficiency) along with MED (marine emergency duties), I can run your boat anywhere up and down the West Coast and around Vancouver Island. With advanced training in heavy weather boat handling through RHIOT (Rigid Hull Inflatable Operators Training) out of the Bamfield Coast Guard base, I am a confident navigator day or night. I always keep “Risk Assessment and Safety” as the number one priority both of person and property. Our goal is to deliver your boat from Point A to Point B of your choice without incident.
To get this started we calculate the distance and speed of travel, then along with your vessel details we formulate a Sail Plan. Once we understand what we are dealing with and the duration of the journey, we negotiate the cost based on our hourly rate of $175/hr plus travel expenses. Your vessel will need to be fully insured and I will have my own policy to cover my end.
